Several X Barrels, which close the gates, also are found with the checked ones, demanding the primates to use timing on which ones to hit or not. The gates are opened by certain barrels, called Check Barrels, that are scattered throughout the stage. Target Terror is a fast-paced stage featuring a Skull Cart running along tracks on a roller coaster, but several gates are blocking the way. Enemies also include Click-Clacks, Spinies and Krooks in Donkey Kong Country 2, and Klampons, Spinies and Flitters in Donkey Kong Land 2. He is particularly useful in traversing large areas covered with honey, since he can walk across it with ease, or defeating large amounts of Zingers by shooting webs. One of the many animal buddies, Squitter the Spider, will gladly help the heroes if he can be found. However, honey on the walls allow them to progress across vertical sections of the stage that are otherwise inaccessible. The sticky honey that covers most of the floor can be dangerous to the Kongs, as it can keep them from move away from harm. In Donkey Kong Country 2, their larva can be seen in combs in the background.
This is the first giant beehive stage of this world. Outside the amusement park, there is also a swamp, and here Zingers did their main headquarter, with a lot of giant beehives including the ones where King Zing can be found. In the park area, there are some small Kremlings called Klanks who like to have dangerous races in the roller coasters. However some fun rides are dangerous and in terrible state of disrepair, with their tracks being often broken and with gaps. Straight ahead is the next Puzzle Piece (5/7).Krazy Kremland is an amusement park for Kremlings, with roller coasters, a giant ferris wheel, colored carnival tents, fireworks, and other attractions. Roll jump to collect the “O.”īefore landing on solid ground, look for a lone banana in the bottom right corner of the leaf platform. Jump on the sunflower and then to the leaf on the right. Next to the first one you will eye the second KONG letter (2/4). Grab all of the bananas for a sparkly Puzzle Piece (4/7).Īfter the Secret Room, bouncy platforms pop up. Get to the top of the third plant stalk and jump over the Owl to a Secret Room (1/2) on the right. Pass the Checkpoint Pig and hop across the stalks. Drop down and climb you way back to the exit and the Puzzle Piece. Be patient and wait for the spike wheels to come underneath you. Once you do the Puzzle Piece (3/7) will appear over the exit. Grab the grassy wall and collect all of the bananas along the path.
Jump in the new blast barrel on the left and launch yourself back to the circle plant. In the background a giant circle plant will grow. Before you jump in, hop to the left and grab a hidden vine. Following the path, you’ll come across a blast barrel.
